The Paramedical Institute, Bhopal Memorial Hospital
& Research center, was established in
August, 2004. It is recognized by the Madhya
Pradesh State
Paramedical Council, Ministry of Health, Govt. of
Madhya Pradesh, Education Department and affiliated to
Barkatullah University, Bhopal. The College is
well furnished with lecture hall, demonstration
hall and auditorium of 150 seats. Bhopal Memorial
Hospital and Research Center (BMHRC) is providing
medical treatment to MIC gas victims of a highly
specialized nature in defined areas free of cost.
It will promote medical research and continuous
education programmers including post graduate
education and training. BMHRC is a 350 bedded
superspeciality hospital in an area of 85 acres
land with ultra modern equipment and facilities
which are unmatched in the entire State of Madhya
Pradesh.

Nursing College in Bhopal Memorial Hospital & Research Center was established in Nov. 2003. It is recognized by M.P. State Nursing Council, Indian Nursing Council & affiliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal. This college is the first college offering B.Sc. Nursing Post Basic degree in M.P. State. The college has well furnished Lecture halls, demonstration halls & auditorium of 150 seats. It has a spacious Library, well equipped with professional books, journals & internet facilities.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
The aim of the B. Sc. (Post Basic) Nursing is:

To increase the professional skill in nursing care.

To be able to work in superspecialty hospitals of international standard.

To develop excellence in nursing with a view to generate new innovative approaches in health care system.

To provide opportunity for candidates with the required educational background to develop their personality, to prepare as nurses with adequate scientific foundation for rendering intelligent and effective care to individuals in the hospital and community and, to develop their potential towards the advancement of nursing.
Duration of the Course
B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic) is for 2 years & total number of seats is 50 per year. The course of study is divided in 2 parts.
