The Department of Ophthalmology
provides world
class eye care to the gas victims which has been
appreciated at all levels.
It
is involved in giving the best possible and latest
eye care, totally free to the persons affected in
the MIC gas tragedy of December 1984.
It
is an active department committed to reducing
blindness through its support centres, i.e. 8 mini
units which are delivering efficient eye care and
conducting OPDs daily i.e. 6 days a week.
It
has highly qualified Ophthalmic professionals and
staff, trained in India and abroad, who are
devoted to their work and willing to teach and
learn, keeping the spirits of BMHRC.
Offering their professional expertise and
skills to the Geriatric and Pediatric age group of
gas affected patients.
