Introduction
The department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular
Surgery became functional
in 2000, the year of inception of the Hospital. A
total of more than 2600 procedures have been
performed till date with a
success rate which matches the best
in the industry. Our team of cardiac surgeons is dedicated to deliver
the highest quality of tertiary care in the
specialty.
We
pioneered the setting up of the first
professionally run cardio thoracic department in
Madhya Pradesh which caters to a vast population
of the state and neighbouring Maharashtra, Uttar
Pradesh,
Rajasthan & Chattisgarh. It has the unique
distinction of being the leader in conventional
adult and pediatric procedures and in adopting the
emerging innovative techniques thereby keeping
pace with the latest times.
The department runs a DNB (CTVS) program and has
successfully trained a large number of young
surgeons for their formal MCh registration in
institutes all over the country.
